easy porridges

-PATEN DANKALI

INGREDIENTS;
12 large potatoes(quartered)
1 cup Blended onions,tomatoes,red peppers
4 garlic (pasted)
Dried fish
4 tbs groundnut oil
1 1/2 cups of water
Seasoning (to taste)
METHOD;
Soak the dried fish in salted hot water and peel the flesh off the bones then set aside. Fry the blended tomatoes and peppers with the garlic for 5 mins. Add the water and seasoning and bring to a boil, add the potatoes and dried fish and allow to cook on low heat for 20mins.
NOTE; you can add veggies like cabbages and carrots to make it healthier.

PATEN DOYA

INGREDIENTS;
1 yam tuber (qurtered)
1 cup Blended onions,tomatoes,red peppers
4 garlic (pasted)
Dried fish
1/4 kilo of chopped Beef (cooked)
4 tbs groundnut (or palm) oil
3 cups of water
Seasoning (to taste)
Choppe spinach

METHOD;
Soak the dried fish in salted hot water and peel the flesh off the bones then set aside. Fry the blended tomatoes and peppers with the garlic for 5 mins. Add the water and seasoning and bring to a boil, add the yam and dried fish and allow to cook on low heat for 20mins.addd the spinach 5 mins before you take it off the heat( doing this allows the spinach to retain its nutriends)

PATEN WAKE

INGREDIENTS;
2 cups perboiled red beans( use kanwa when perboiling)
1 cup Blended onions,tomatoes,red peppers
4 garlic (pasted)
Dried fish
1/4 kilo of chopped Beef (cooked)
4 tbs palm oil
3 1/2 cups of water
Seasoning (to taste)
Chopped spinach

METHOD;
Soak the dried fish in salted hot water and peel the flesh off the bones then set aside. Fry the blended tomatoes and peppers with the garlic for 2 mins. Add the water and seasoning and bring to a boil, add the beans and dried fish and allow to cook on low heat till beans becomes very soft and is esily mashed with a spoon. Add the spinach 5mins before taking it off the heat.
